It is pretty neat. Mike really seems to be channeling Phillip Glass with this one. Perhaps intentionally.
Yeah, it reminded me of Glass too. Looking at Youtube, Mike actually notes: "I say original score, but let's face it--you can tell I dig Philip Glass. Though, that worked for John Adams, so maybe I shouldn't complain."
He's being a bit modest- it's good stuff on its own, even though, yes, it's evocative of Glass.
